While I was home sick today I started to play around with making some business cards to hand out out to authors, stores and other mystery readers. Here is a logo that I'm playing with....
What do you think?

No offense, but I'd give the logo a rethink if I were you...
I'm inclined to agree about the book - it'd look better with out it. But I'd say keep the blood, for the mystery angle.
Now, if it were the dog's blood, and the dog were bleeding from a gut-shot...now *that's* a logo.
