The Weekend Plan

This weekend is the 3rd Annual West Hollywood "Fall Into Reading" Book Fair. There are a few good panels at the event:

Tell A Vision - Writing for THE Business and Pleasure with Stephen Cannell, Lee Goldberg, Gar Anthony Haywood and Peter Lefcourt.

T. Jefferson Parker and Gregg Hurwitz in conversation

Murder, Mystery and Madness - Writing about Crime with Christopher Darden, Marissa Batt, Miles Corwin with Edward Humes as the moderator.

Mystery Town - Crime Writers and Their Novel West Hollywood Setting with Jerrilyn Farmer, Gary Phillips, Robert S. Levinson, Nathan Walpow with John Morgan Wilson as Moderator.

Mrs. Peacock in a Library with a Pen - The Women of Mystery with Denise Hamilton, Susan Kandel, Harley Jane Kozak, Rochelle Krist and moderator Kelly Lange.

True Stories vs. Tall Tales - Debunking Rock n' Roll Myths with Kim Cooper, Pamela Des Barres, Domenic Priore, Gene Sculatti and moderator Becky Ebenkamp.

This is a special panel for Dave and Ray....Pamela Anderson with ghostwriter Eric Shaw Quinn.

Clive Barker will be doing a painting demonstration and Book signing.

I'll be taking pics and notes and buying books.

Damn, you guys have a lot of book festivals. Is it because American authors are more willing to talk about their stuff or is it because Britain is stuffier than the smoker's cubicle at Gatwick airport?

And Pammy was never my style. Any woman who can't decide on the size of her own breasts isn't going to make my top ten.

Yep Ray, lots of book festivals, and this is only the Los Angeles area. For me it is 40 miles in any direction to get to one of these.

As for Pam, yeah, she is not my style either.
